7 adults, 5 kids, and 4 wonderful days of fun!

Sorry I have neglected the blog for so long.

Where the time goes I am not sure.

So in October we were so blessed to have Matt's family come to visit.

Everyone stayed together in our sweet, little house.

It was so much fun to have all of the cousins together as well as time with siblings and Grandpa Scott. Here are our sweet cousins, Owen and Ben.

They are so much fun and we loved playing with them.
Mr. Smiles!
Ben is the sweetest little boy.
He is all smiles and loved to sit back watching all the action.

Finally....another girl to add to the crew!
Sweet Baby Eden

Wesley loved to show his "all boy" side cruising around on his 4-wheeler.

Katherine Susan snuggling with her daddy.

Ready to roll!

Hang on Owen!

These pictures are in reverse order.

Katherine started by holding Eden while the Mommies were getting ready.

Soon after she had rocked her to sleep. Her arm started to fall asleep so then they cuddled next to each other.

Katherine loved taking care of all her little cousins!

Auntie Anne (Matt's sister), Uncle Pat, and Cousine Ben

We love our Marso relatives.

It was so wonderful to spend time playing and chatting with Auntie Anne and Uncle Pat.
Last time we saw Baby Ben was this summer in Minnesota.

He is growing so big and moving all over.

WE loved cuddling with him.

Uncle Pat and Mommy even took all of us on a walk.

It was fun to catch up!

Thank you for making this all happen Auntie Anne!

Uncle Jon and Katherine cuddling.

Uncle Jon was such a trooper this weekend.

He got a GREAT BIG owie on his leg right before he came and hung in there all weekend.

The Iowa Schreiners.

Uncle Jon (Matt's brother, Auntie Jenny, Owen and Eden)

It was so fun showing Owen around and playing outside with him.

Uncle Jon taught Wesley some new sword fighting moves as well as Mommy and Daddy new games.

The meeting of Viking and Packer families.

So the Schreiners are pretty divided when it comes to the face off of the Vikings and Packers.

Which happened on the Sunday everyone was here visiting.

Here is the crew showing their colors!

Of course....Idaho Schreiners' cheer purple and gold!

(Sorry Annie and Grandpa Scott)

Sibling Showdown!

Auntie Jenny and Baby Ben

Ben doesn't seem to happy with Jenny's purple shirt!?!

Grandpa Scott and Baby Eden

This was the first time we met Baby Eden.

She is the most precious baby girl.

Snoozing with Uncle Matt

Jenny and Owen cuddling on the carpet.

Owen loved watching Ruby, the dog, outside. Mommy and Owen had a special bond hanging outside.

Baby Eden
(Grandpa being silly)

Wesley and Ben cuddling on the carpet.

Next year they will probably be wrestling.

Katherine got to take Auntie Anne horse riding.

After a very rainy morning, the weather cleared just long enough for a quick ride. Thank you to Kelly and Sierra for taking them out riding.

Katherine loves to ride and had so much fun showing Annie and Grandpa Scott all she has learned.

Wesley got to ride a bit too!
Although it was more sitting while the horse snacked!

Our little Cowgirl!

Baby Eden and Uncle Pat snuggling.

Check out my cool Halloween shirt.

Thank you Oma for sending all of us new Halloween shirts.

Baby Eden getting all snuggled up for a hike!

Wake up Grandpa!

Poor Grandpa Scott never got to rest...when the kids were close by that is!

We loved having everyone come and visit.

One of the hardest parts of being so far away is missing family.

So we truly LOVE when we have visitors.

Thank you so much for coming. We could never really express how wonderful and precious this time together was for all of us.

We are so blessed to have incredible family!

Thank you for the wonderful conversations, game playing, hiking, pictures, food, shopping and of course endless FUN!

We love you all so MUCH!!

Come again soon!!!!

Bye Bye Nukie....

First night...sleeping without the nukie!

Tonight was very bittersweet for dear Wesely....

when we got home from having dinner at Joel and Julia's there were no nukies in there usual spot in the cupboard. Wesley looked at me and said, "Do you think the Nukie Fairy came?" He ran upstairs to find a present laying on his bed. He was so very excited as I read him the letter left by the Nukie Fairy. He said, "I'm not even gonna cry mommy." He opened the present to find a spiderman sleeping friend. He was so excited and hugged him so tight. We then read stories and as he lay down to go to sleep he said, "Mommy, do you think the Nukie Fairy knew I loved spiderman?" I said, "Yes, I bet she does." As the minutes (seconds) went on...this tough, excited attitude changed into a very sad little boy bidding farewell to a beloved comfort. As the tears started to roll down his cheeks, he looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I think I'm gonna cry." It was so sweet. I teared up as well. I asked if he would like me to pray with him. He said yes. As I prayed and he held my hand and cried for his nukie. I held him tight and comforted him. He then threw his new spiderman down and cried harder. I continued to talk with him reassuring him (and me) that we could do this. I gave him another big hug and kiss and went down stairs. 10 miniutes later....silence. So a total of 40 minutes and we have accomplished our FIRST night of sleep without the nukie! To bid farewell to our dear friend I have included some pics of my dear sweet boy and his nukie.....enjoy!

Spiderman Birthday!

Spiderman Wesley shooting webs at Daddy!

Ready to party...and catch beattles with sticks!

The cousins hanging out!

Since it was Wesley's golden birthday (3 on the 3rd) and the first year he actually understood it was his birthday, we decided to go all out. Thanks to the help of all the grandparents, we were able to get a bouncy house for the party. It was a huge hit. Wesley's eye just about popped out of his head when it blew up. He was so excited!

Thank you so much!!

The kids were pretty bummed when we had to take it back today. They thought it was ours forever. Katherine is looking forward to getting one on her golden birthday!

My sweet boy on his 1st Birthday. This is one of the picture collage I made hanging around the house. My little prince!

Time to bounce!

Here is the game we played for the party:

Matchbox car racing with party blowers

The girls were the big winners of this game!

Katie was the all time winner. Here she is demonstrating her skills.

She beat Tyler pretty bad and wouldn't let him forget it either!

Layla and Wesley off to the races!

Go Wes go!

Ani was the most creative and just pushed hers with her blower. This was the closest race as right after this picture Cory puled right up next to her.

Cody had a tough time as his blower wouldn't really work like he wanted it too. But he did bring lots of entertainment with his determination.

Wrestle mania with Daddy!

Opening presents!

"I've been wishing for this!"

Studying the rainbow on his card so closely.

Cheese!

Cake time

Building with the blocks Daddy made.

Who's that masked man?

Ready to wrestle the green goblin!

Wesley has been wishing for this mask for a long time. This was Cody's mask and we have a picture of Cody wearing it on our fridge. Wesley will look at it and say, "Mom do you think Cody will let me have that mask someday?" Well Cody passed it down for Wesley's birthday and Wes was so excited!

Ready for action...Spiderman and Spidergirl!

I love this picture of Wesley shooting webs.

He loves Spiderman and now our house is covered in Spiderman gear!

"Money....for my bank!"

His daddy has taught him so well.

Mommy would think..."Money, let's go shopping!"

Good thing Daddy does such a good job teaching us all to save!

"I'm three and that's really big!"

Thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful birthday wishes and gifts. Wesley had an incredible birthday. Although he woke up sick in the middle of the night and coughed all night. His actual birthday was spent cuddling in the chair with mommy watching movies and reading books. He is on medication now and already starting to feel better.

He is so thankful for all of his presents.

We are so blessed with an amazing little boy with a very tender heart. He is so sweet.

The nukie fairy is coming to visit now that he is three. We ask you keep Wesley in your prayers as he goes through this MAJOR transition. Little man loves his nukie, but understands it is time for it to go to another baby. But it still is going to be very hard on him.

Lots of love!

A quick note about our amazing daughter as well...who is loving Kindergarten and being a big sister. The day of the party Katherine was so sweet and loving to Wesley. Letting him chose everything and helping him. It is incredible to watch them work together. Don't get me wrong...it is not always harmony. But for the most part they are the best of friends. We have so much to be thankful for. God is working in our lives and I am so thankful for all HE is doing in each and every one of us.

Happy 3rd Birthday Wesley!!

We love you so much!

Happy 3rd Birthday Wesley!
